The Red Bull Showrun Taichung International Racing Show will be held in Taichung City on September 28th. This event will make Taichung the focal point of motorsports fans and attract tourists. The Taichung City Government’s Digital Affairs Bureau is launching a series of activities and offers to further internationalize digital services and make Taichung City shine globally.
This racing show is a new chapter for Taiwan’s motorsports and an important moment for Taichung City’s digital services to connect with the international community. The city government has launched a number of activities and services related to the race, including multiple discounts. These are available to citizens and visitors on the Taichung Pass Platform (TCPASS.)
The event will feature a race car show with exciting activities, fun quizzes, and good health benefits, and will take place in various locations throughout Taichung
The Taichung City Government has launched the Racing Show Discount Store Map to allow more people to participate in this international racing event. The map covers more than 900 stores in Taichung, including hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Visitors can enjoy discounts on shopping and attractions. The map is on the TCPASS APP.
The Digital Affairs Bureau has also planned the “Racing” Taichung program with a number of boutique hotels. Visitors can enjoy the racing exhibition and a comfortable stay at the same time. The partner hotels include Howard Prince Hotel Taichung, Windsor Hotel Taichung, Hung’s Mansion, InHouse Hotel Taichung, Lihpao Resort Fullon Hotel, Freshfields Taichung, Moxy Taichung, The Splendor Hotel-Taichung, The Sun Hot Spring Resort, and iCloud Luxury Resort & Hotel. These hotels have special offers during the show. Visitors can enjoy upgraded rooms, food and drink, and discounts on go-karting by showing their ticket. Some hotels even provide shuttle services to the race show venue.
From September 25th to 28th, TCPASS will hold a quiz. There is a chance to win prizes, including model cars and hotel vouchers, by answering three race-related questions on TCPASS. iTaichung Wireless Network Upgrades Multilingual Support to Promote Digital Internationalization

It now supports English, Japanese, and Korean, and has a redesigned membership service for citizens and tourists. The new TCPASS membership system has three levels: basic, general and full-featured.
